The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing and distributing medications and maintaining drug inventory under pharmacist supervision. Key duties include filling physician orders, preparing sterile products, and managing emergency crash carts.
Requires a high school diploma and at least six months of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Current state registration and IV certification are required or preferred depending on local regulations.
PRN every other weekend, 7am-12pm IV Compounding Experience is Required.

USD $20.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Procures and distributes drug orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols and within specified time frame: Fills physician’s orders, medication surgical kits, medication carts, and/or medication requisitions and specialty items/bins accurately. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately and timely. Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts, floor stock, automatic dispensing cabinets (ADC) accurately. Prepares sterile products (including parenteral nutrition) accurately. Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies, procedures, and protocols Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Possess current pharmacy technician registration in state of employment/practice if required. Possess I.V. certification if required in state of employment/practice and/or work location. Possess National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) if required in state of employment/practice. Where not required, it is preferred. Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course preferred.
