The Lab Assistant is primarily responsible for performing phlebotomy and collecting patient specimens while maintaining accurate documentation and logs. They also manage laboratory inventory, process orders, and ensure compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 1-3 years of experience, with phlebotomy certification strongly preferred. Physical ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 40 lbs is required.
