The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising staff, and utilizing the nursing process in the Surgery Center. Key duties include managing post-operative care, handling patient discharges, and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree or Diploma and a valid West Virginia nursing license. CPR certification is required, while a Bachelor's degree and specialty certifications are preferred.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is a seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Surgery Center.
The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated. Care for the patient post operative and discharge patient. The person will order supplies and do whatever is necessary to maintain a safe environment for patient care.
The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
