The Radiology Tech performs radiographic procedures and applies ionizing radiation to assist radiologists with diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering IV contrast, and ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Applicants must hold current ARRT and WV Medical Imaging License certifications and be CPR certified. Graduation from an accredited Junior College or Technical program is required, with one year of experience preferred.
Cabell Huntington Hospital, a member of Marshall Health Network, is a 303-bed teaching hospital for Marshall University Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing. We are home to the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital and the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and serve patients throughout West Virginia, eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio.
The Radiology Tech performs radiographic procedures by applying prescribed ionizing radiation to the patient in order to assist the Radiologist with diagnostic imaging. Applicant must hold their current ARRT and WV Medical Imaging License licensures and must have graduated from an accredited Junior College or Technical program.
