Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Weekends Only

• Brighter Day is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as a Direct Care Professional to provide care to the individuals we support.
• You will work in home settings supporting individuals with daily living activities, participating in recreational activities, and fostering positive relationships.

• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

What you’ll do

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Implement individualized care plans and follow specific protocols
• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
• Assist with medication administration and documentation as required
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals

Hours needed

• Saturday and Sunday's Only!

Skills needed

• Experience in providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations preferred but not required
• Ability to work effectively with people with diverse needs and backgrounds
• Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and team members
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team orientated environment
