Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation to identify disease processes and anatomical abnormalities. Ensure high-quality image production while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols and providing compassionate patient care.
Requires a high school diploma, completion of an accredited radiological program, and ARRT registration or eligibility. Candidates should be new graduates or have one year of general radiology experience, with pediatric experience preferred.
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnosis of disease processes and delineation of both normal/abnormal anatomy as well as pathological conditions in areas of the human body. REPORTS TO Director—Radiology/ Department Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS Supervisory Responsibilities: NO Minimum Education: High School/GED Required.
