The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains the necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment. They function as a key member of the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient-centered care.
Candidates must be high school graduates who have completed an appropriate surgical technician program. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures is required, with experience in ambulatory surgical centers preferred.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
