Park Clinic - Iowa Park, TX 76367 Performs physician assistance functions in a clinic environment, assists with providing a safe and clean setting for patients during their clinic visits, and utilizes appropriate equipment and resources under the supervision of a physician.

DUTIES
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide clinic services and care for patients. Assist physicians and prepare patients for various types of examinations and procedures. Assist physician with minor surgical procedures performed in the clinic. Obtain and record blood pressure readings, weight, and length measurements. Apply or change dressings as directed. Communicate and treat patients in a professional, honest, fair, and respectful manner at all times. Assist in maintaining patient files. Prior to examination, obtain subjective information related to patient’s perception of health. Collect necessary information received concerning x-ray and laboratory reports, data from referring physicians, and surgical or other procedure reports for the patient’s files. Maintain stock levels of supplies and required equipment. Ensure inventory are adequately stocked with supplies and equipment necessary for efficient operation. Clean and disinfect surgical instruments and ensure they are delivered to the designated place for sterilization. Perform the cleaning and sterilization of equipment, exam rooms and work areas.
