Performs technical radiographic and CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to assist in diagnosis and intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas and applies independent judgment to ensure accurate imaging.
Requires an Advanced Registry in CT and certifications including ARRT, BLS, and a Florida Radiologic Tech license. Candidates must also pass a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
