The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks. They support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by physicians and advanced practice providers.
A high school diploma or GED and knowledge of EMR and Microsoft Office are required, with BLS certification needed shortly after hire. An associate's degree, medical assistant program graduation, and CMA or RMA certification are preferred.
