The Registered Nurse provides high-quality compassionate care by assessing patient needs and developing collaborative care plans. Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, operating life support equipment, and providing essential patient and family education.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NYS license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. At least one year of recent experience in GI and/or OR is required.
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is offering 13-week travel contracts for RNs at Geneva General Hospital.
$60-$70 Based on Experience. Health Insurance available at the first of the month, after 30 days
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
License: Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Basic Coronary Care
Must have 1 year of recent experience working in GI and/or OR. Must be able to perform duties at a fast pace after 2 days of orientation. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills. Computer literacy.
