Performs vascular studies using high-frequency ultrasonic waves to diagnose diseases in patients. Collaborates with clinicians to ensure study appropriateness and manages related administrative and equipment maintenance tasks.
Requires a Vocational or Technical school diploma and certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist or Specialist. Candidates must have 1-3 years of technical experience, with vascular experience highly preferred.
Performs vascular studies on assigned patients. Utilizes independent judgment in the application of non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves for diagnosis of disease. Collaborates with clinicians to ensure appropriateness of studies and performs related administrative tasks.
Vocational or Technical school Diploma required. Current Registered Vascular Technologist OR Registered Vascular Specialist certification, required. Specialized certifications, as needed. 1-3 years of technical experience, required.
Vascular experience highly preferred.
Shift Details: Monday-Friday either 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm (travel to various sites in Suffolk County)
