The Dental Assistant is responsible for preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, and providing direct chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry. Additional duties include taking x-rays, performing lab work, and managing administrative tasks like patient follow-ups and documentation.
Candidates must hold CPR/BLS, Radiology, and DANB certifications (for Washington State). Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and proficiency in software like Open Dental or Dentrix are preferred.
