The LCSW provides social work services including assessment, crisis counseling, and case coordination to improve the mental health of underserved populations. They work with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and provide mental health services.
Candidates must be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in California and have a minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services to underserved populations. CPR certification and proficiency in computer use are also required, with bilingual skills preferred.
The licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) will work to reduce the distress and improve the mental health of underserved populations presenting with complex medical and psycho-social problems. Works alongside other professionals in multidisciplinary teams in order to deal with complex patient problems.
