Optimize patients' functional abilities and skills under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. Provide high-quality care for upper extremity conditions and maintain accurate patient documentation.
Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited OTA program with valid state COTA licensure and CPR certification. Requires at least one year of experience specifically working with hand therapy patients.
Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals Ensure proper documentation of patient care. Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies
Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED Must have previous 1 year experience working with hand therapy patients.
