Rehab Tech/ CNA

The Rehab Technician plays a critical support role within the rehabilitation department of a Skilled Nursing Facility. Working under the supervision of licensed therapists (PT, OT, SLP), this position assists in delivering therapy services to residents recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. The Rehab Tech ensures efficient clinic operations while contributing to positive patient outcomes.

• Key responsibilities
• Assist therapists with patient treatment plans, including setting up and guiding residents through prescribed exercises and activities
• Prepare and maintain therapy areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for treatments
• Transport residents to and from therapy sessions in a safe and timely manner
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any concerns or changes in condition to licensed staff
• Clean, organize, and maintain therapy equipment according to infection control standards
• Support documentation processes, including tracking attendance and therapy activities as directed
• Provide encouragement and support to residents to promote participation and engagement in therapy programs
• Follow all facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety protocols
