The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, following established clinical guidelines. This includes documenting medication administration, conducting point of care testing, and providing routine patient care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be certified as a Nursing Aide and Medication Aide in the State of Georgia. Proficiency in computer skills and effective communication are also required.
