Responsible for the admission, diagnosis, and medical treatment of adult and geriatric patients within an interdisciplinary team. Ensures medical record compliance with state, federal, and JC standards to support reimbursement and billing.
Requires a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, completion of an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency, and a valid Virginia medical license and DEA registration. Board certification in Internal Medicine and experience with inpatient psychiatric populations are preferred.
