The LPN provides specialized nursing care for patients with acute and chronic wounds in an outpatient setting. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients and families on wound care and prevention.
Candidates must hold a current LPN license and BLS certification. Previous experience in a wound healing role is preferred, along with the ability to meet physical demands of patient care.

1. Must be able to report to work fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of illegal drugs, medical marijuana, prescription medication, and/or alcohol.
2. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.
Job responsibilities require a considerable amount of physical work. The individual will be required to assist with lifting and moving patients, pushing of carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment; and lifting of pushing. The individual must be able to bend over to perform certain duties. The individual must also be able to maneuver throughout the halls, stairways, and patient rooms in response to hospital emergencies. Interpretation of environmental input requires visual and auditory skills. A significant amount of writing and computer entry is required.
