Provide direct patient care and psychosocial support on a medical/surgical floor under RN supervision. Perform emergency department receptionist duties, including registration and switchboard operations.
Must be a high school graduate and a Certified Nursing Assistant listed on the CNA Central Registry. Preferred experience includes secretarial or reception work, along with strong organizational and computer skills.
Will be responsible for providing patient cares, assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and general cleaning of units and equipment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse on the medical/surgical floor. Will also perform ED receptionist duties to include registration and switchboard duties.
Full-time. 72 hours per pay period - 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. shifts. Includes every third weekend and holiday.
High school graduate or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant required. Must be on the CNA Central Registry prior to hire. Must have excellent computer, communication and organization skills. Must be able to multi-task, work independently, be accurate and handle stressful situations calmly. Secretarial or reception experience preferred.
