Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients with acute medical conditions in the Emergency Department. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient assessments, diagnostic testing, and disposition planning.
Requires current or eligible licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New Hampshire and Vermont. A Master's level education is required for NPs and preferred for PAs.
Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients presenting with acute medical conditions in the Emergency Department. Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and consulting services to deliver high-quality patient care. Coordinate patient disposition, including discharge, admission, and transfer planning. Required Licensure/Certifications Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the states of New Hampshire and Vermont. Academic preparation at the Master's level preferred. RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in New Hampshire and Vermont. Successful completion of an approved NP program. Master's level education required.
