Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and established nursing standards. Provide direct care following individualized care plans and document resident health and emotional conditions.
Must have a high school diploma and be a licensed Certified Medication Aide. Prior experience in assisted living or skilled nursing units is preferred.

Must be a licensed Certified Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with laws of this State. Prefer prior experience in AL or SNU. Prefer prior experience as a certified medication aide for a least 1 year. Specific Requirements: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
