The Dental Hygienist is responsible for promoting oral health through prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and oral cancer screenings. They also handle dental charting, patient education on decay prevention, and the execution of treatment plans prescribed by dentists.
Candidates must have a current North Carolina Hygienist license and a dental hygiene certificate or Associate's degree. New graduates are welcome, provided they demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow clinical instructions.
