Veterinary Technician- Research Animal Operations

Preferred Qualifications

6 months or more experience in an animal related field. CVT - Certified Veterinary Technician. 6 months or more experience in a vivarium setting with familiarity in animal welfare standards (IACUC, AAALAC, or similar guidelines). Additional Job Standards: Commitment to animal welfare, safety, and ethical care standards. Reliable adherence to protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrated attention to detail Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Willingness to learn and adapt, including new equipment, procedures, or compliance requirements. Pay Range: $23/hr.-$25/hr. After initial training period (based on performance) $.50 increase. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
