The Medical Assistant coordinates care between patients and providers by performing intake, recording vital signs, and assisting with clinical procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, managing exam room supplies, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, along with CMA or RMA and BLS certifications. At least two years of experience in a physician's office is required.

The Medical Assistant is an essential member of the patient center medical home team. The Medical Assistant is responsible for coordination of care between the patient and medical provider, while helping support the clinical team with effective and efficient delivery of health care services.

Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone.
Visual acuity adequately to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted in normal daily activities and up to 30 lbs. for other required work activities. Additionally, requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements (especially if keyboarding and writing), standing, walking, squatting, and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
