Provides a combination of direct patient care and clerical support for the unit under the direction of a Clinical Nurse. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment, scheduling tests, and assisting physicians, patients, and families.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and current Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Candidates must have previous acute patient care experience or completion of the IU Health PCA education program.
