The Registered Nurse leads the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and collaborating with physicians to implement individualized care plans. Responsibilities include documenting patient care, administering medications, and utilizing scientific evidence to guide the patient's health journey.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license and at least one year of Labor and Delivery experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the ability to perform heavy physical tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs, is required.
Consistently utilizes appropriate communication tools when communicating within the interdisciplinary team and when handing off patient care. Communicates individualized plan of care to the patient and his/her chosen support system. Uses communication tools such as Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, and Question (SBARQ) to communicate more effectively. Documents appropriate information in a timely manner.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1 year of relevant experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
