Therapy Aide

Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Frisco, TX Therapy Aide Full Time Outpatient Facility Shift Hours: 40 hour week Starting rate: $18/hr Seeking full-time therapy aide to join growing multi-disciplinary team. Candidate would be responsible for facilitating efficient patient care by assisting clinicians in set up/take down of patient interventions as well as a second set of hands for fall risk patients, clinic and equipment cleanliness, and administrative tasks such as ordering and compliance manual completion. Ideal candidate is an excellent team player, takes initiative to complete tasks, and is organized and process driven.

Responsibilities

Seeking Therapy Aide to join large mutli-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, Patient Service Specialists and Therapy Aides. Ideal candidate is an excellent team player, is proactive in accomplishing tasks, detail-orientated, and organized. Must have excellent communication skills to work with large team and team of four techs. Secondary job duties include working with patients under a therapists' directions to help provide comprehensive rehabilitation. Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Must have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications
