Perform various cardiac echocardiography tests, including 2-D and Doppler, for adult and geriatric patients. Maintain performance improvement documentation in compliance with IAC standards.
Requires a professional certification in echocardiography (RDCS, RCS, RCCS, CRCS, or ACS) and AHA Basic Life Support certification. Graduation from an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program is preferred.

Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on the adult and geriatric patient population. Responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC.
REQUIRED An appropriate credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support PREFERRED Membership in professional society or societies related to the field of sonography. Graduate of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program. Work Hours: 0700-1730 or 1930 Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis On-Call Requirements: Yes
