Administer medications, treatments, and wound care while monitoring and documenting patient conditions. Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement care plans and educate patients on recovery goals.
Requires completion of an accredited LPN program, an active New Mexico license, and current BLS certification. At least one year of relevant field experience is required.
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision. Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress. Assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians. Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals. Maintain accurate clinical records, including medication logs and shift reports. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies. Provide emotional support and advocate for the patient's needs during rehabilitation.
