The Podiatrist is responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions of the feet, ankles, and lower legs, including managing chronic diseases like diabetes. They will prescribe medications, perform X-ray examinations, and supervise medical assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and possess valid NC Board of Podiatry Examiners and DEA licenses. Previous experience in a medical office or FQHC is preferred, along with current CPR certification.
Summary of Position
We are currently looking for a compassionate, mission-driven Podiatrist, just a stone's throw from Charlotte. This position will report to our Chief Medical Officer.
Qualified candidates should possess critical-thinking and excellent interpersonal skills, and provide the full scope of podiatry services following a patient-centered and integrated approach. Podiatry services should include but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care and preventive care to patients with chronic disease (i.e. Diabetes Management).
Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Current valid/unrestricted NC Board of Podiatry Examiners License. Current valid/unrestricted DEA License
