Procedure Support Tech - Main OR, Evenings

• Overview The Procedure Support Tech I performs patient and non-patient functions under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
• This job is responsible for performing a range of self-directed support activities that contribute to the overall efficiency of the perioperative area(s).
• Work involves inventorying, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, maintaining operating room equipment, positioning patients, and patient preparation for procedure.
• If needed assists with case cart preparation.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, sanitary, orderly procedural environment, and transports patients as required.
• To function as an integral member of the operating room team and contribute to maintaining a safe, professional, respectful and effective patient care environment.

Qualifications

Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support AHS BLS Certification Upon Hire Required Business
