Candidates must be able to provide speech-language pathology services according to American Speech-Language and Hearing Association standards. Proficiency in treating cognitive and swallowing disorders is required.

The PRN Speech-Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.
