Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with formal cardiac rhythm training or one year of cardiovascular technology education/experience. Candidates must pass an arrhythmia test and hold BLS certification.

Responsible and accountable for observation of all monitors in the central monitoring station, this includes 3 A-B-C-D, 4AB, 4CD, 5AB, 5CD, 6AB, 6CD; MICU, reporting any abnormalities, obtaining, routing, documenting, and accurately defining rhythm strips. Performs ECG tests on patients as assigned.
