The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples from patients. These specimens are used to perform various blood and chemical analyses.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a certification from an approved phlebotomy training program. Previous experience in a multi-specialty clinic laboratory is preferred.
The Phlebotomist collects blood samples using techniques to obtain specimens for the performance of various blood and chemical analyses. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent, required Phlebotomy certification from an approved phlebotomy training program, required Must provide a license number with an expiration date and certificate Must maintain certification as required by certifying body Previous experience in a laboratory at a multi-specialty clinic, preferred WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
