The Infusion RN is responsible for administering IV therapies, injections, and prescribed treatments while monitoring patients for adverse reactions. They must maintain accurate EMR documentation and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Arizona RN license and BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, specifically in an infusion or IV therapy setting, is required.
Proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture. Strong understanding of infusion pumps, medication administration, and emergency procedures. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient interaction skills. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation. Work Environment Outpatient medical clinic setting. Requires standing or sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting of supplies. Consistent weekday schedule—no weekend or holiday shifts.
