The MRI Technologist is under the general direction of the Director of Medical Imaging, with the clinical supervision of the Radiologist and performs MRI examinations, including breast and cardiac exams of patients of all ages for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illnesses. He/she assists the MRI Lead Technologist with policies and procedures and performs other Radiology Department duties as assigned by the Director of Medical Imaging. He/she contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.
Reports to Director of Medical Imaging; collaborates with Lead MRI Technologist, coworkers and other departments.

Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology. BLS certified. Registered by the ARRT. Currently licensed as a Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin. Advanced certification in MRI preferred.
At least two (2) years of experience performing MRIs.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to use computers, fax machines and possess proper phone skills. Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
