Assists respiratory therapists in preparing for and providing patient care under direct supervision. Performs various respiratory procedures including oxygen administration, nebulizer therapy, and airway clearance.
Must be enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care Program with a minimum 2.0 GPA and register with the Board. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Join our dedicated Respiratory Therapy team at HRMC, a 154-bed facility offering a full range of services including general surgery, women’s care, intensive care, and emergency services. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional respiratory care, continuously seeking ways to enhance the patient and family experience. We work closely with all providers and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient we serve.
How you’ll contribute
Assists respiratory therapists with preparing for and providing patient care. Must be under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner. The educational institution must verify that the student has successfully completed a competency evaluation that certifies the student to be competent in all the following respirator care procedures:
Oxygen Administration: Humidity and Aerosol Therapy
Non-invasive Mechanical Airway Clearance Therapy: Chest Physiotherapy with suctioning
Arterial Puncture: Electrocardiogram (if performed)

Must be enrolled in a recognized Respiratory Care Program that has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care or its predecessor. The educational institution must verify that the student is in good standing with a minimum grade of 2.0 in all RCP courses, and an overall average of 2.0 must be maintained.
