The specialist is responsible for obtaining blood specimens from clinic patients using venipuncture or capillary collection. They also provide instructions to patients for the collection of non-blood specimens.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program or at least two years of experience in a clinical lab environment is required.
Draw/obtain blood specimens from clinic patients by mean of venipuncture or capillary collection according policies and procedures. Instructs patients for non-blood specimen collections.
