The Clinical Pharmacist optimizes patient care through safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical services, including drug dispensing and IV admixture programs. They also oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff under the direction of pharmacy management.
Candidates must hold a B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited school and possess an active state pharmacist license. BLS certification is required, with ALS/ACLS preferred for those attending Code Blue events.
The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, an IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
