Responsible for the cardiac monitoring of patients, including those with pacemakers and AICDs. Documents rhythm changes and reports them according to established protocols.
Requires a high school diploma, BLS certification through the AHA, and completion of a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course. Thorough knowledge of arrhythmia recognition and basic computer skills are required.
30am and every third weekend, at Arnett Hospital. Holiday rotation.
