The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment to patients, primarily those with orthopedic conditions, according to a physical therapy plan of care. They operate under the clinical supervision of physical therapists and the general supervision of the Team Leader and Director.
Candidates must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant Board and meet all professional educational requirements. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.
All Rehab Team Members must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant Board or the Ohio, and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their professions. All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution. Current American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.
