Performs a broad range of laboratory procedures using approved protocols in areas such as blood banking, chemistry, and microbiology. The role involves exercising independent judgment to ensure accurate diagnostic testing within the Cancer Center Lab.
Requires an Associate or Bachelor degree in medical laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or a related science with clinical training. Candidates must be registered or eligible for certification by a recognized agency and possess phlebotomy experience.
Will be working at the Cancer Center Lab MLT/MT Job Summary Performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require moderate to broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility. Medical Laboratory Technicians or Medical Laboratory Scientists perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or may be specialized in areas of blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology and laboratory send out reference testing
