Provide personal care and assist terminally ill clients with activities of daily living according to individualized care plans. Work both independently and as part of a cohesive team to deliver meaningful care in residential settings.
Must hold an active State of Virginia CNA license and have at least 2 years of experience in homecare or hospice. Requires reliable transportation for travel across Northern Virginia and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Homecare Homebase.
Our growing Hospice team has an opening for Certified Nursing Assistants working part-time hourly, Monday-Friday, to provide personal care to clients in their northern Virginia place or residence.
Our Hospice Aides are responsible for carrying out client’s individualized care plans and assisting with many of their activities of daily living. Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide meaningful care to, and communicate with, the terminally ill. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a cohesive team but be adept at working independently.
Active State of Virginia CNA license. 2+ years of homecare or hospice experience. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to work Monday - Friday as needed. Owns reliable and independent transportation to make facility and home visits throughout Northern Virginia. Good technical skills and experience using Microsoft Office 365 products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) Experienced with using the Homecare Homebase electronic medical records system.
