The Clinical Research Specialist develops and implements recruitment strategies to enroll patients in clinical trials. They are responsible for screening patients, managing data entry, and ensuring compliance with protocol and regulatory standards.
An Associate degree is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least 2 years of experience in a related healthcare field. Candidates are expected to obtain professional certifications such as CCRA, CCRC, or CCRP within three years of hire.
