Where You’ll Work Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus!

The schedule for this position is two 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends(7pm-7am) 4th Floor Medical Surgical: The 4th Floor Medical Surgical unit at St. Anthony Hospital, an achieved Magnet® hospital, is a medical/surgical telemetry unit of 36 beds and is primarily a telemetry unit with medical/surgical overflow. Our typical patient population includes heart failure, pre and post-cardiac catheterization, abnormal arrhythmias, vascular surgery, TAVRs, ablations, and other cardiac patients. Our mission is to provide the highest level of quality, patient-centered, and safe care to all patients who come through our doors while also creating an atmosphere that is fun, exciting, and engaging to work in. Working on the 4th floor of the hospital provides nurses with an environment that is team-focused, supportive, and adaptable to the changes in healthcare. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following: Education Requirements Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs Experience Requirements One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty Licenses/Certification Requirements RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Physical Requirements Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
