The LPN is responsible for preparing patients for exams, administering medications, and collecting clinical data. They collaborate with providers to ensure safe patient care and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program and hold a current nursing license in Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin. A high school diploma is required for work performed in complex CLIA labs.
Prepare patients for appointments, exams, treatments, and minor procedures Obtain vital signs, patient history, and other clinical information Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments within scope of practice Assist with specimen collection and preparation for laboratory testing Support patient follow-up care, referrals, and coordination of services Document patient information accurately within the electronic health record Provide education and guidance to patients and families during clinic visits Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support safe, efficient patient care Maintain compliance with safety, privacy, and regulatory standards Contribute to a positive, team-focused clinic environment centered on excellent patient care
Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses. High school diploma required if work is performed in a complex CLIA lab. License(s)/Certification(s): Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa/Illinois/Wisconsin for Licensed Practical Nurse.
