Provide intensive peer support, information, and teaching to parents and caregivers of youth with Type 1 Diabetes. Assist families in linking to community supports and achieving wellness and recovery goals.
Must have direct personal experience raising a child with Type 1 Diabetes and a high school diploma, though a bachelor's degree is preferred. Requires valid driver's license and specific background clearances (Act 31, 33, 34, 73).
Flexibility necessary, Weekend hours are rare.
