UT Health ET Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant PRN

• The UT Health ET Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN plays a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in their homes across the United States.
• This position focuses on assisting licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall functional independence.
• The PTA will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• This role requires adaptability to various home environments and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while adhering to professional and organizational standards.
• Ultimately, the PTA contributes significantly to improving patients' quality of life by supporting their recovery and promoting safe, effective physical therapy interventions in a home health setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification as required by the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a home health care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
