  • Job Summary

    • Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to for our Primary & Specialty Care clinic in Rogers, AR.
    • The Medical Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of the clinicians and Clinic Nurses, assisting in providing excellent primary health care to our patients.
    • The position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
    • Bilingual speaking ability (Marshallese/English) is required.
    • CMA or RMA certification is required.
    • Key Responsibilities
    • Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
    • Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
    • Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
    • Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
    • Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
    • Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
    • Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.

    • Proficient spelling necessary
    • Ability to work and function independently and within a team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
    • Proficient knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft Office Software.
    • Able to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records.
    • Required Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
    • Bilingual (Marshallese/English) required.
    • 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience required.
